Eine Bach’sche Fuge strahlt von dort heraus
musikalisch, obwohl er
in seiner Adern
keinen Mörtel hat.
Zidarska fuga puna je alata
Bez alata nema zanata
Bachova fuga sjaji se od
Glazbena inata
Njegova aorta
Ne sadrzi ni trunka morta.
This poem has been written at the occasion of Zagreb Guitar Quartet’s concert at the Police Academy on March 24th 1998 in Zagreb. The author, who worked as a teacher there, appeared as the concert’s conférencier.
